Notifications

WhatsApp-native, because that is where your patients are.

Confirmations, reminders, payment links and the prescription itself — sent on four channels and logged one by one.

How it works

  1. 1

    Something happens

A booking arrives, you approve it, a payment is verified, a slot is ten minutes away, a prescription is ready. Around fourteen distinct events send a message.

  2. 2

    The channels are chosen

WhatsApp, email, SMS and push, depending on the event, the recipient and what the practice’s plan includes.

  3. 3

    Quota is metered

Usage is counted against the plan for the month. If the counter itself fails, the message still goes — a broken meter must never silence a reminder.

  4. 4

    It is sent and logged

Every attempt is written down per channel with its outcome. When a patient says nobody told them, you can check instead of guessing.

  5. 5

    Schedules run on their own

A reminder ten minutes before each appointment, a call-style ring at the slot time, and a digest of the day ahead — without anyone pressing send.

In more detail

WhatsApp first

For patients in Bangladesh it is the channel that gets read. Confirmations, reminders, the payment link, the verification code and the prescription PDF all arrive there.

The prescription as an attachment

The generated PDF is sent to the patient on WhatsApp, not merely announced.

Email that looks like you

Branded transactional email, with one-click accept and decline on appointment requests.

Push that rings

On the Android app, the slot-time notification behaves like a call, with join and snooze.

Snooze is respected

Snoozing the ring is recorded, and the next attempt honours it rather than ringing again immediately.

One number, two channels

The WhatsApp number a patient verifies at booking is the one used for SMS as well.

What this does not do

Written down so you find out here rather than three weeks in.

  • SMS is included on the Clinic and Enterprise plans only. It is not part of Starter, Professional or Ultimate.
  • Custom notification rules and automation workflows are not available yet — the message set is fixed.
  • Push notifications ring on the Android app. On the web they behave as ordinary browser notifications.
  • There is no in-app chat between doctor and patient outside a live consultation.
  • Notification templates cannot be edited by a practice.
