Payments & payouts
Get paid before the consultation, not after it.
Collect the fee online when you approve the appointment, watch it land in a wallet, and withdraw it to the account you already use.
How it works
- 1
You set your terms
A consultation fee, or none at all. Collected online, collected at the chamber, or a part-payment in advance with the balance in person.
- 2
You approve a request
Approving an appointment where the fee is collected online creates a checkout for that specific appointment, at your practice’s fee.
- 3
The patient gets a link
By email and WhatsApp. They can also fetch it again themselves from their portal if it gets lost in a busy chat.
- 4
They pay how they already pay
bKash, Nagad or a card, in taka, through the payment gateway — not by transferring to a personal number and sending a screenshot.
- 5
Confirmation is verified twice
The gateway notifies the server, and the patient’s return to the app checks independently. Whichever arrives first confirms the appointment; the second does nothing. A dropped notification cannot lose a booking.
- 6
You withdraw it
Payments accumulate in your practice wallet. Set a payout account and request a withdrawal; our team settles it and the ledger records it.
In more detail
A wallet you can read
Collected, available to withdraw, and already paid out — with the recent payments behind each figure.
Out to a mobile wallet
bKash, Nagad or Rocket by number, or a bank account over NPSB.
One request at a time
A practice can have one open payout request. It is a rule in the database, so a double request cannot be created by an impatient second tap.
Charged to the right practice
A checkout can only be created by clinical staff of the practice that owns the appointment. A doctor elsewhere cannot raise a charge against your patient.
Free and at-chamber modes
Set to free or to collect at the chamber and no checkout is created at all — you confirm the appointment directly.
A record of the money
Payments, settlements and payouts are each recorded, so what was collected and what was sent on can be reconciled.
What this does not do
Written down so you find out here rather than three weeks in.
- Payments are in BDT only.
- One payment gateway is supported. There is no alternative provider or direct card processing.
- Refunds are not implemented in the app. A refund is handled by our team outside it.
- There is no subscription billing for your own Shifora plan — no card on file, no recurring charge, and no self-serve upgrade. Plans are set by our team.
- Payouts are processed by our team on request, not automatically on a schedule.
